Welcome to my Write For Fun Online website. Do you have some spare time in your day? You could be retired, or stuck at home for other reasons, like being tested positive for COVID. How would you like to use this time to be creative and share your stories, or anything else you care to, with the world? If so, you have come to the right place. You will also have the option to learn how to earn money while having fun too! About Edwin is my way to introduce myself to you.
My Story
Before I retired I used to be an engineer who designed cockpit displays for commercial and military aircraft. It was a fun job and I traveled the world on various projects.
Traveling was in our family DNA. My parents, who originated from India lived in Burma (now called Myanmar) for a while between the 1st and 2nd World Wars. They had to flee Burma from the Japanese invasion and trekked back to India.
As a 12-year-old kid, my younger brother and I were sent off to boarding school in the Himalayas. My two younger sisters stayed behind in Calcutta. Both my parents worked, and my Dad supervised the work on electricity grid construction sites all over India. Hence, we only saw him on home breaks.
Sending us to boarding school achieved two purposes. It gave us an opportunity to learn to be independent. And it reduced stress on my grandmother who lived at home and looked after the kids to help our Mum out.
Off We All Went To England
We finally emigrated to England to increase the quality of life for the whole family. This objective was met easily. For example, my dad worked in the City of London, so he could be a part of our daily lives. All the children are grown up now and lead very successful and fulfilling lives.
My professional life spanned England, Canada, and the US, where I permanently live now. Since retirement, I thought it would be a good idea to share my life story on another website.
That led me to create this website Write For Fun Online to help others share their stories and more.
Why I Want To Help People
I have had, and continue to lead a wonderful life. My goal now is to find as many people who have a story to tell and want to learn how to do it online through their own website. Why not use what I have learned to help others achieve that goal?
We are evolving as a society from being extremely busy to having more spare time than we realize, The population is growing older and many are retiring. The Pandemic has created more work-from-home jobs.
When people retire, many have nothing creative or exciting to look forward to. It can cause us to languish and feel we are not valued.
How I Learned To Do This
You may be wondering how did an old guy like myself learn to build a website and write and publish content?
It was a strange journey indeed with many obstacles and false starts. I wasted so much time and money with companies who promised me everything and delivered nothing.
Eventually, I discovered an amazing platform called Wealthy Affiliate that was the answer to my prayers. It had everything I needed in one place. The training took me step by step through the process of how to select a domain name, purchase it within the platform, and build my blank canvas website in 30 seconds!
Since I have developed the skills to build websites and attract traffic, meaning readers, I thought why not help others do the same to share their own stories. While making it easier to start this process.
This could be the solution to feel valued again. And connecting with other like-minded people all over the world.
The Goal Of My Site
I want to discover people who have spare time on their hands and show them how to create a beautiful website and share their stories with the world. Why stop there?
After you write your stories, don’t you want them to be read by as many people as possible? That is the main goal of this site. I will share knowledge about how to do this as well as help you develop the skills and provide you with the tools to implement what you learn. I’m going to sound like a broken record. Why stop there?
Do you realize that what you will learn in this process can also be used to earn an extra income online? By promoting other people’s products through affiliate marketing? As well as letting Google place ads on your site to earn you passive income?
You can choose to earn enough to supplement your retirement income. Or, you can go all out and create wealth large enough to benefit your family in ways you never thought possible.
What a legacy that would be. Just think about it.
Or you could choose just to share your stories and leave it at that. It is your choice.

I am so delighted to hear about the designs you did for the military. So if you write your true experiences, you will automatically become a niche specialist and your website may ve stunning.

Thank you sincerely for your kind words. I will be devoting several posts about my engineering career as ut spanned three countries and almost 4 decades. Lots of interesting things happened. Now that you expressed interest in that I may start that sooner than later.
Just a tidbit here. When we worked on a contract for the USAF we had to go to their aircraft hangar on the East Coast to do NIght Vision tests in the dead of night. LIke 2 am to 4 am lol. That will make an interesting story.
Then on a return flight from Germany to LA, I was upgraded to 1st Class and sat next to the infamous OJ Simson for 12.5 hours. Now that was a unique experience that not many strangers have had.
The approach I want to take with my website is to not write my stories chronologically. I am still pondering how to spread out the stories so they flow logically without being in chronological order.
I will be including a form for visitors to subscribe to my email list so that I can send notices when new posts are completed. As well as share additional information I don’t want to display on my website.

I have been introduced to Network Marketing as a making money online, And I was promised lots of hypes for the system, and I lost 2500$ by joining and failing at the end.However, I don’t consider I failed, because without joining MLM, I wouldn’t find wealthy affiliate
.still, not all affiliate marketing programs are legit, because mostly they sell high ticket programs (1000,2000,3000 dollars) training and just recommend to other, really I am not joking, there are programs which they teach not even 20% of WA.
Moreover, there are many scams as well, they ripoff your money and never give you anything, you should becarefull which training program you are purchasing
The only program I found which gives many many services, live weekly seminars, even I reached the owner to ask question and I got help offcourse is WA.I 100% recommend the training program in this article ,which the only program made me earn my 1$ online and progress
